February is Black History Month, and this year, GMC is celebrating with Old School Sundays! Each week, we’ll honor our history and traditions with special themes, activities, and a chance to reflect on our church’s legacy. We invite the entire congregation to wear your Sunday Best and join us in celebrating each week’s theme:
February Themes:
• 1st Sunday – Traditional Sunday Best • Wear your finest traditional church attire to kick off the month.
• 2nd Sunday – Hats & Gentlemen’s Flair • Ladies: Wear your best church hats. • Gentlemen: Rock your favorite pocket squares, ties, bow ties, or lapel pins.
• 3rd Sunday – Family Color Sunday • we want to see our GMC families represent! Invite your entire family to church and Dress in coordinated colors to represent unity and tradition. • 4th Sunday – Annual African Attire Sunday • Celebrate our heritage by wearing African attire.
